A version of Morschauser's rules for the late 19th century

Although they are not quite aimed at purely colonial conflicts, I have begun work on a version of my adaptation of Morschauser's 'Modern' Period Wargames Rules for the latter part of the 19th century.

I will adding a draft of these rules to my Wargaming Miscellany blog later today. Once I have play-tested them I will adapted them to include colonial armies as well.

DestoFante,

With a bit of luck they should be uploaded to my blog this morning. I am behind schedule as I am currently trying to set up a new computer as well as everything else that I have to do.

At present it is very similar to the 'Modern' period adaptation of Morschauser's rules I have written, but there are still things that will need to be worked on, hence the need for play-testing.

All the best,

Bob

Hi Bob, Happy New Year! I cant wait to see the next version of the Morschauser experiment. Have you considered using hexed game boards for this bearing in mind the amount of Hexon you own?

Ogrefencer,

And a Happy New Year to you to!

I had hoped to get the draft of these rules (for squares, not hexes - that change may come later!) uploaded today ... but I decided to replace my aging PC with a newer one whilst prices were low after Christmas ... and it is taking all my time to set it up.

At present I cannot get a proper connection to the Internet via the home network I have, and I cannot trace the reason why this is happening. With a bit of luck it should be solved tomorrow and then normal blogging service will be resumed.

All the best,

Bob
